Future Special Volumes
Special Issue “Inverse Problems” of the Journal Electronic Transactions on Numerical Analysis (ETNA)
In 2025, ETNA will publish a Special Issue on Inverse Problems. The Special Issue will be organized by GIP (Inverse Problems Society of German Speaking Countries), which will form an Editorial Board for the Issue. Papers will be rigorously peer reviewed according to the standards of ETNA. Submission is possible from December 1, 2024 on.
Please note that the Special Issue is open to all scientists working on Inverse Problems (not only GIP members!). Topics include:
- Theory Numerics of Inverse Problems
- Regularization Theory
- Inverse Problems in Applications, e.g., Medicine, Imaging, Industry etc.
The Special Issue will only publish new and original work. To submit a paper to the special issue, please follow the standard submission process through the Open Journal System. Right at the beginning, you are asked to choose a “journal section”. Please choose “Special Issue on Inverse Problems”. Submissions are possible immediately, until June 2025.
Special Volume "Modeling, Simulation and Optimization in Industrial Applications" of the Journal Electronic Transactions on Numerical Analysis (ETNA)
ETNA publishes a special volume on topics related to data and physics-based modeling, simulation and optimization in industrial applications. The special volume is linked to the recent conference of the same name held at the Széchenyi István University in Győr, Hungary, between October 9 and 11, 2024. The conference organizers will form the Editorial Board of the special volume. Papers will be rigorously peer reviewed according to the standards of ETNA.
Please note that the special volume is open to all scientists working on aspects of modeling, simulation or optimization in industrial applications (not only participants of the conference). Topics include, but are not limited to:
- electric machines and drives
- societal challenges, e.g. air pollution, cancer
- multibody simulations in industry
- healthcare, e.g. genomics, medical image processing
- high performance computing in industry
To comply with the scope of the journal, all submissions are required to contain numerical results. The special volume will only publish new and original work. To submit a paper to the special volume, please follow the standard submission process through the Open Journal System. Right at the beginning, you are asked to choose a “journal section”. Please choose “Special Volume on Modeling, Simulation and Optimization in Industrial Applications". Submissions are possible immediately, until June 2025.
